Sunderland keeper Alex Bass is wanted on loan by Richie Wellens’s Orient.

The League One new boys need a shot stopper after Lawrence Vigouroux left at the end of his contract.

And Bass is available as the Black Cats are willing to let him go out on loan for the season to stay sharp.

So if Bass goes to Orient we can stop the lazy “Nixon knows nowt” thing about everything he posts. He very clearly doesn’t know nowt. When he states specifics he’s got a very good record. It’s his cryptic ****e that can be ignored.
He broke the bass to sunderland news

I'd take asmir begovic as an experienced back up.

Or etienne green to push patto for number 1 spot.

Good shout with Begovic, he is meant to be a top pro so would help Pato and the likes of Richardson

Green might be too pricey for a back up - likely to cost a few million, talented lad though

A couple new names for us to keep an eye on that I like from Hacken in Sweden:

Kristoffer Lund - LB, unlikely to be signing a LB but if we see Alese more as a CB he could be ideal as a back up to Cirkin. Pacey, strong and aggressive. He is also very good in possession, nice passer of the ball and he is a really powerful runner with the ball at his feet. As I said unlikely to be after a LB but one for the future perhaps. Rumours he might be going to Serie A so shows he's highly rated, only just turned 21.

Momodou Sonko - Right footed LM - only 18 yrs old, very exciting player. Beats opponents inside or out and is very quick. He does lack strength so he would need to bulk up a little before being ready for the 1st team but he seems the perfect player for our new vision. Has very good movement as well, picks up intelligent spaces to receive the ball, just needs to improve movement in the box as he doesnt score loads of goals.

Don’t think he gets much from SAFC but he has connections at other clubs.

Makes a lot of sense. Club obviously rate Bass otherwise wouldn’t have signed him. Gets him games to go and build confidence and show what he can do. Reading the Bass is better then you realise thread I didn’t know much about his career before us. Hope it comes off and it works for him. If Patterson sticks around he might never be first choice but might just build his reputation up so we can turn a tidy profit in a couple of years. If silly money comes in for Patterson and we chose to take it then he’s ready to step in.

Is he not? Luckily I trust the team who buy our players more than someone who probably hasn’t seen him play.
No he isn’t

That’s not a dig at the recruitment team - he was bought as cheap to be second choice and “the model” can’t get find a gem every time, there’s going to be the odd signing that doesn’t come off
