And the new aussie, plus Anderson, plus young Johnson. We feel well covered to me, even if one or two go on loan. Not entirely convinced we need a CH at all tbh atm. Batth, Ballard, Alese, Onien plus Hume and Cirkin in emergencies? Need another striker in first imo.
Just out of interest, and as exciting as these new lads are; none of them will be in the first team if everyone is fit for Ipswich will they?
Patto
Hume
Ballard
Batth
Cirkin
Neil
Ekwah
Roberts
Pritch
Clarke
Rossco
Doubts over Rosso's fitness I know but that's pretty much our strongest lineup as it stands?
Exactly. Bench is stronger already imo.And the new aussie, plus Anderson, plus young Johnson. We feel well covered to me, even if one or two go on loan.
Will never understand what people get out of faking stuff like this. Very sad lives they must have
Unless we play a regular 3 ?Not entirely convinced we need a CH at all tbh atm. Batth, Ballard, Alese, Onien plus Hume and Cirkin in emergencies? Need another striker in first imo.
That's an option bit I think we will go with a 4 as TMs preferred formation.Unless we play a regular 3 ?
Jinky - not enough use of that word anymore.
I'd argue we need depth at centre half.
Wright will go. Anderson out on loan.
Alese had his fair share of injuries and covered for cirkin at left back.
Ballard, Batth (crocked) 09 and Nectar. I'd say we need another like
And the new aussie, plus Anderson, plus young Johnson. We feel well covered to me, even if one or two go on loan.
Mowbray how already alluded to this mate.Anderson's 22, I don't think we bought him to loan him out. He's looked capable enough to me, plenty of work on bulking up should see him feature on the bench regularly.
Anderson wasn't considered good enough last season, not sure how much he's improved but would be risky to rely on him. Triantis won't be ready for regular first team minutes until after Christmas at the earliest imo. Johnson is nowhere near, needs a loan. O'Nien, Cirkin, Hume all out of position. Just leaves Bathh, Ballard, Alese. All three showed last season that they're not reliable on the injury front.
We 100% need another CB, in my opinion.
Mowbray how already alluded to this mate.
I thought he looked very poor for Brighton towards the end of last season when I watched him. He was very dodgy when they played the mags away.TheBronzeBummer on RTG implying a Dutch centre half may be coming in.
Van Hecke on loan?
I like how we stick to targets we want to bring in. If we don’t get them one window, we’ll try again the next.I thought he looked very poor for Brighton towards the end of last season when I watched him. He was very dodgy when they played the mags away.
That being said, there’s an obvious drop down in quality and he was very good for Blackburn a couple of years ago in the championship apparently. Should be a good signing at this level.
https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spo...s/sunderland-boss-tony-mowbray-hints-26589357What did he say, is he thinking of loaning him?
Agreed. As you say, we also have Zak Johnson to step up next season. Enough cover there. And the new aussie, plus Anderson, plus young Johnson. We feel well covered to me, even if one or two go on loan.
O'nien is a quality cb at championship level n i think he can still kick on more. Hes still learning the position but at the min hes 3rd choice cb n i dont ever worry if hrs starting thereI don't like Cirkin or Hume at CB (although they did ok when called on) but imo O'Nien has more than proved himself to be a quality CB at this level. Not disagreeing with you in general but for me O'Nien is firmly in solid CB territory.
Lot of unknown quantities thereAnd the new aussie, plus Anderson, plus young Johnson. We feel well covered to me, even if one or two go on loan.
