I’m confident they will but I think we might leave it quite late to see what the Stewart situation is, both fitness and contract wise. If he’s fit and looks like staying we’ll sign someone a bit different, more in the Geldhart mould I suspect.
I’d pretty much agree, just possible Ba could play instead of Pritchard or that Bellingham could. As it stands Semedo is almost guaranteed to start.
Blackpool away game got me very interested in Ba, he was quality. Good to see earlier posts about people at the club rating him highly as well. As you say, maybe he starts in the 10 role.
I think he will be an important player for us this coming season. Not so sure about Lihadji, but Ba looks like he just needed to learn a bit of the off the ball stuff to me. That should have come now.
I agree it's a position we can improve on. He's a quality player and has had plenty of great moments but doesn't quite offer enough at this level for me.
Be great if he stayed on as an option but I wouldn't be planning to start the season with him.
Hope so. Lihadji is another one who could kick on imo. Linked with some big clubs before we got him as well. Fingers crossed.
100%. No doubt about it for me. I love how strong our bench could be. Some good players missing out on the match day squad also.

Not entirely convinced we need a CH at all tbh atm. Batth, Ballard, Alese, Onien plus Hume and Cirkin in emergencies? Need another striker in first imo.
