Major threat imo. Alarm bells should be going off.Saudis are going to kill what's left of the game over here.
We won't be offering 30k. Cheers for the goals Rossco. Hope the Achillies is OK (genuinely, I'm not taking the piss) All the best. He’s gone then, if true.
Aye I think he'll end up there.Being offered north of £30k a week by Stoke.
Not a chance. I’ll be gutted if Stewart joins another side in this league like.We won't be offering 30k. Cheers for the goals Rossco. Hope the Achillies is OK (genuinely, I'm not taking the piss) All the best.
Semeydo is ****ing mint anyway.....
So would I mate tbh, i thought a Brighton or Brentford were decent shouts before his injury tbh.... i think Ivan Toney backed him to sign for Brentford tbhNot a chance. I’ll be gutted if Stewart joins another side in this league like.
. Stoke would be the big kick in the balls but they are able to offer big money due to restrictions being lifted apparently. Either way we will be fine imo.Ross Stewart to sign a 2 year deal with club option of a further year aNext signing sweep stake? I reckon mid July. A striker.
I'd be surprised if any club other than the clubs receiving parachute payments could pay 30k a week, especially with FFP scrutiny on the championship at the minute, as part of the embargo being lifted will of been a plan of sustainability moving forward or else it's a pointless excersizeBeing offered north of £30k a week by Stoke.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him sign a pre contract with rangers tho always in the players favor moving on a free financially
Shocked to see some still trying to underplay the value Ross Stewart has to this football club mind.
Hes absolutely tireless, he chases lost causes and is always running into the channels which stretches the defence and creates space for the lads playing behind him to operate in and be destructive. Of course he has the handy knack of putting the ball in the net too. Many wondered how he'd adapt to the Championship yet despite a campaign tore apart by two significant injuries he still scored 10 times in 13 games, a couple of those being sub appearances as well!
We eventually adapted to a way of playing without him, but it was no coincidence we were better on the road where typically the initiative was with the home team to be the one pressing and we exploited the spaces left, but as a result of not having Stewart we struggled more than we should have at home because he had nobody to stretch a defence and no legitimate central threat to run in behind. This made it all compact and more often than not led to us having lots of possession in and around the oppo box without necessarily having an end product or any penetration.
To replace what he offers us you're spending well north of £10m. If we can get him signed on to a new deal its undisputedly the best business we'll do all summer. I back him to come back firing.
Maybe was. Doubt it’s on the table now.Being offered north of £30k a week by Stoke.
How are Stoke offering Ross Stewart anything when a bid hasn’t been accepted?
Load of ****e.
I don't think people are undervaluing what he offered us, the key is that it's past tense. How often do players suffer two major injuries in a single season and then come back to full fitness and see out their career at the top of their game, injury-free? I don't know if it's ever happened. I'm sure he'll still have a decent-ish career, but nowhere near what it could have been. I'd be shocked if he manages to play more than half the games in a season for any future club, and even more shocked if he can do so at a level equal to (or better than) he was playing for us just before his injury.
IMO, the rest of his career will be spent in and out of the physio room, and even when fit I seriously doubt he will ever reach the potential he had. It's a shame for the lad (and us), but I think it's the most likely outcome. The club are right to exercise caution.
Anyone who reckons he's going to come back and continue to progress, and play week in week out for an entire season, is in dreamland imo.
