Same here, his finishing is class and he has the pace but the rest of the game is poor for me. When you are spending that you want a guaranted starter and I dont think he would be for us - obviously depends on Stewart staying and how Semedo settles but I think there will be better value for money out there
I'd love it if Rossco was the next 5 year deal.to be signed but seen it before with Maja. Much more confident these days that he will be adequately replaced if he does move compared to the Maja scenario.

We did do well without him, but if he had been fit for most of the season I think we would of been up challenging for automatic promotion. He is 1 of the best strikers in the division
We might have been, and I agree I think he is one of the best in the division but if he doesnt want to sign then so be it. I still think we will be really strong team with or without him - as i said I would rather he stays as I love the LND

Personally think Stewart will run his contract down and leave for free.

He's 27, had a nasty injury, and came from the Scottish league so he will be looking after himself with the next contract he signs.

I don't think we will meet his demands like. Full expecting him to leave.
Free transfer to Rangers all day. Will sign it in January imo.

Next signing sweep stake? I reckon mid July. A striker.
2 new contracts then an outgoing before we announce a new signing imo.

Edit: there was talk of a new contract for Harry Gardiner in the local press which wouldn't surprise me. He has done well and Murty always sings his praises. He's done well for the u21s and could get a loan next season.

What a f**king team he played in, what an era. G Force on Metro etc. Class.
They were good crack to be fair. Gilly was mad, whenever we scored they were always saying...."Where's Gilly gone....." and he would be halfway down the stand on his arse absolutely loving it. If we weren't at the home games we used to have the away games on a radio when we were knocking about the estate after school. I remember a Brett Angel goal away from home raised a few cheers. Can't remember who it was against though but there can't be many he scored past. <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Being offered north of £30k a week by Stoke.
