Honestly and I know it’s massive long shot (but far from impossible, he’s a round Mackem), the impact getting Jordan in with these lads would potentially have would be crazy.

It’s likely he does another year there I’m sure but we all fancy he finishes career here what a time this would be for him to do that.

Imagine Jordan captain alongside Ekwah in that deeper area, would be superb.

I’m gonna stop thinking about it cos it a year too early ha.
That’s fantasy I’m afraid. He’s still starting for England, he’s not going to jeopardise that by competing in a lower league.

Personally think he has been badly advised. Agent seen the big licks and the PL calling when the goals were going in. They thought his injury was over after ruptured quad and expected PL clubs to roll in.

Ruptured Achilles to follow and that's crushed any PL big time move. For the near future anyway. Think it's time for a big dose of reality and to sign what he has been offered to date.
I think this. He’s been paid low wages for a long period because he’s been told not to sign and now this. Good advice and he’d have signed and could still have gone for a fee. In effect the agent has disrespected the club and player.

I don’t see Ballard leaving for a second.

He chose us a year ago. He’s good enough for West Ham first team but no way would he be guaranteed games there.

I don’t see it happening, I don’t worry about him leaving this summer. One of several potential future captains, when he goes, if he goes, I reckon be a top 6 club.

Had a look at this (I’d held off till was done).

Looks a big, athletic lad. Great feet. Thing that stands out is composure.

Looks a great link player likes to drop deep and can pick a pass.

I’m sold on him, as a 2 with Stewart he’d be an absolute weapon.

Can only go off stuff like this for now but I'm getting a strong feeling he's going to be class. Ticks loads of important boxes and doesn't look like he's afraid of the physical side of the game.

Looks a confident lad as well.

Having a lad that size with quick feet like that, if he develops he could be a real wow player.

I know these are ‘best bits’ but they can’t show ability that doesn’t exist, and we do canny bringing players on nowadays.

If we think of the impact Simms had, well this lad is physically similar but looks a more polished, natural and considered player.

Some of the passes out are quality.

Thanks for posting that. I like the look of him, he looks a bit of an all rounder - quick, can hold off his man and can carry the ball

Now you mention it, he is similar to Simms and with him being given the number 9, I can't see us going back in for him

You can see how he’d link with the absolute quality wingers we have.

Getting more and more relaxed about the Stewart saga. We’ve already shown we can win without him.

Still want him to stay like.

Similar in stature, but Simms touch wasn’t great. This lads feet for his size look insane.

Portuguese players always decent with the ball of course and 8 years at Benfica as a youth is gonna bring any player on.

I know its a different league and the Championship is more physical than the Portgugese league he played in but Clarke and Roberts would thrive on some of those balls he pinged out to the wings!

I could have sworn I'd read somewhere he felt responsible for Lpool's poor season and didn't feel he was quite at that standard anymore so would be looking to leave this summer. But can't find anything about it online so maybe I dreamt it ha

I feel like I read that on here, but with nothing to support it as fact.

They light in midfield as it is so can’t see him leaving this summer, for sure his game time be reduced once they’ve done their business though.

The scary thing with this lad is he doesnt know how to fully use his strength yet. Only watched him a couple times but hes a handful, needs to improve link up play n his movement wasnt always great the games i watched but the potential is huge

The way our recruitment team have been finding them and the fact that TM is great at developing players makes be superb excited about this lad

Great start to the window, buzzing about who else we bring in

Agree wuth the folk saying about a bit of experience, for me we need a couple players to come in with a minimum of 100 games under their belt (like a ballard from last season)
