An actual fit, natural centre forward on the books by the looks of it - will be great to see the team as they haven’t had one to play off since January.

The local press are just reporting what everyone else is seeing the foreign press reporting. I read nothing into them saying any of this. I definitely don’t see it as a verification / second source.
When was the last time any of our local jurnos had a transfer exclusive? Surely it must be embarrassing for them when Fabrizio Romano or Football Insider break our news.

They are too quick to spare the clubs basically, as they like everyone else know bad news carries further.

Both clubs up here now are far too well run to feed them anything as a result.

Get these 2 wrapped up by the weekend and it’s been a nice positive start to the window, still think a few instant starters will be coming but likely have to wait for those deals, nice to not be in a flap going into a summer for once
Totally agree, we'll have a pretty balanced squad once those 2 are announced. I don't think we'll have many more incomings for the first team. We'll probably see 1 or 2 leave, hopefully not Clarke

I struggle to think what position the starters could be in when I give it proper thought, maybes a pritchard upgrade? But I’m still a huge fan of his

Isn’t it good when we trust our club.

I hadn’t heard of Triantis or Semedo but I’m excited about both of them.
I’ll now be disappointed if anything stops these signings because I believe our club is really good at spotting the right players (like Hume or Ekwah for examples.)
Bellingham will be a great signing.

There’s such a positive feel about us now and both KLD and Speakman deserve credit for making it happen getting all the right players, coaches and others in.

Seem to remember we signed a young foreign striker in January but can not remember his name or which country we got him from think he was eastern European, but it looks like he may have slipped through the cracks somewhere or maybe I am just remembering wrong.

I think that is where we'll target mostly either with a permanent or loan signing. With Evans been out until the new year, I'd be looking at a defensive midfielder to help out Neil. We are then probably only short of a back up for Clarke who could ideally can play up top, like the Chilean lad we've been linked with

Your not wrong mate, but I think he was signed for the U21s and potential long term development

He is more for the U21

Timur Tuterov. Signed him back in April, and has just turned 18:

That’s after it emerged on Thursday afternoon that the Black Cats had seemingly reached an agreement with Ukrainian club Kolos over a deal to bring 17-year-old forward Timur Tuterov to Wearside.

Tuterov, nicknamed “Colossus”, is expected to link up with Sunderland’s youth teams should the deal go through after breaking through at Kolos aged 15. Kolos announced the transfer on their website after which The Echo contacted Sunderland AFC for confirmation of the deal.
