He has just signed a new contract so it's very possible, he was at the play off final last year and there was talk he was signing then, however he signed a new contract but all of a sudden we are signing him 12 months later, not sure of all the ins and outs of how this works but seems to have been some sort of arrangement put in place then
FWIW Romano has tweeted this morning that the Jobe deal isn't collapsing...

I think he'll be the first we’ll announce. It would be great if we could get 4 or 5 in before pre season starts. No doubt we'll have a few going out on loan, and maybe 2 or 3 transferred.

Think window opens on 14th this year but wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

I trust our recruitment. Aside from JD,which was more driven by sentiment I think, there's only been the German goalie and the Swedish defender from West Ham who haven't settled. We got into an unforseen situation last January...not of our making...when Everton's crisis led to Ellis being recalled and then a severe injury to LND,but we didn't panic..went for Joffy..and still very nearly got reward we weren't expecting. It seems to me we are being well run.
All the info we have suggests Bellingham is done and Semedo has been here last week. if they come off,both seem great signings to me,fitting our model absolutely and addressing positions we need strengthening.
Behind the scenes,SD gone,KLD and JS in control,not Saudi well-heeled,but still very,very well heeled and with a plan to progress.
