Not so sure about that personally. He might well not end up here, but Man Utd might not be so against it as all that.
Clubs like Man Utd spend a lot of time thinking about where players should go on loan. Trust is the biggest factor in their decision. First and foremost they need to trust the player will be coached in a way that suits Man Utd and in an evironment that is of the highest standard. Then they need to trust thd player will get the right amount of game time, with the right level of pressure. We tick loads of boxes for Man Utd. They can easily extend his contract and send him back here expecting him to play 40 games in a side chasing promotion from a very competitive league.
I dont see sides from top european league playing european football taking him. Man Utd fit that description so they might as well keep him. Holland/Portugal possibly, but will they meet the needs of the loan other than higher level of football? Would Feyenord commit to him playing week in week out?
I think there are many more benefits of Man Utd sending him here again than people give us credit for.
I hope I'm wrong, I'd absolutely love to see him back here.
