Bristol City want “£20m+” for Alex Scott. There’s our benchmark.

Not wanting to compare Scott to our players. He’s a very very very good player and could go all the way. Very different to the likes of Neil and Clarke who in my obviously biased opinion are just as high in potential if not in repute.

but for me it crystallises that we shouldn’t even entertain offers for Clarke at the least unless it starts with a 2 and is eight figures.

If we are looking at someone like Galbraith I could see us moving for someone like Billy gilmour on loan, still massive potential but seems to have lost his way abit, not sure where he’d fit in with our current midfielders/Bellingham should he come in

I’d be surprised if they made Gilmour drop down to the championship, especially with the likes of MacAllister/Caicedo potentially moving on and European football on the cards next season.

Galbraith is a weird one too, we were after him in L1 then he went to Doncaster and they got relegated. I wanted him to come here because he looked promising and was 19 at the time - then he took another step back and played in L2 last season where he didn’t really look a cut above. At 22 with 2 bang average seasons under his belt in L1 and L2 he seems to be going backwards. Not really sure he’s what we need.

We definitely need a few quality loanees though. Imagine if we had a few players of Diallo’s quality on loan last season.

Agree about Gilmorton, especially as he has been starting for Brighton recently and he has said he wants to stop and fight for his place, with a good preseason the first priority.

Rate him highly and he’s been getting minutes recently in a very good Brighton side. They paid £9M for him. I think he’ll be staying put, especially with European football confirmed (more games to be played) and the likely loss of Caicedo in the summer.

I agree.

Clarke is a throwback winger and any level he will cause problems. Looking at fees of players going Championship to PL and his potential, I’d not even listen under 20.

Fact he’s in my top 3 fave players we have makes me biased like.

Is this Yanis begraoui I wonder ? Rumoured that another player in addition to Jobe was at the Luton game - and the picture attached seems that it isn't infact Jobe in the image as per the comments. Plus, in the original pic of Jobe at SoL he was wearing a black hoodie whereas the bloke on the image above isn't

Yanis begraoui was mentioned earlier in the thread. Does it look like it could be a match?
