Up to the recruitment team to show that it wasn't a one off fluke. I think they will have a few lined up for the summer to compete with him tbh.

There's always another hero just around the corner in the conveyor belt of football.

Either way, regardless of how much money we bring in from transfers in the summer I'd be suprised if we spend more than £10m
Probably worth remembering Stewart wasnt as good when he signed as he is now. He has been coached very well at Sunderland and has improved as a result. I reckon we coule buy another similar player for a similar price who would need coaching and guidance for a year or so. To replace the Stewart level player he is now is a multi million deal in my opinion.

Over 6ft too so potential to physically develop into a proper out and out 9

Watched France v Holland under 20s the other week to see Ba and Michut and the Dutch striker stood out think he scored twice 6ft 5 and quick Emanuel Emegha @Scout73 might have a better insight to him than me though
Not actually seen him, I dont normally watch Dutch players as the club i work for have great knowledge of these. The french CB Toure is class, really good prospect

Scored a canny hat trick on here, number 11
Have to admit not seen this lad before, decided to watch wyscout clips after the link. The lad has good close control, he takes it in his stride and he is always looking to take a touch forward which I like in attackers. In the box he is intelligent at creating half a yard to get a shot away. He looks a composed finisher, side foots it and looks to find the corners. Link up play was good and he has good pace & at 6ft should add good strength as he matures.

He needs to improve his movement as sometimes gets dragged too wide when he should stay central - this is common in young strikers though.

Definitely worth signing, this is the type of player we should be signing for our U21s as he has a great chance to then progress to the 1st team.

Thanks for the analysis fella.
Much appreciated.
The lad looks like a clever player

Absolute quality quality player was Shev, until Chelsea finished him off.

Same thing happened to Torres, goalscoring machines until they moved to Chelsea and forgot how to score. Pretty weird because the team wasn't bad and they both had plenty of chances.

I used to love Shevchenko, one of my many heroes from the football Italia era.

He's not really said anything about what our transfer plans are there. Just that we need to fill gaps in the squad and Stuart Harvey is probably dealing with it.

I agree with the sentiment about being excited for our future but there's no substance in that article.
