No bother mate, it's a really good read.
It really is, thanks. I found which leagues they had in their respective tiers interesting too. Still have the Ukrainian league in the tier above the Scottish Prem (I was slightly worried about the standard he was playing at since the war started). He ranks really well in the tier 2,3,4 comparisons.

Nixon reporting there is a "midfield loan in the wind"

Whatever that means

I think Clarke will be okay when he’s someone to cross to, particularly Stewart.
Hemir scored nearly every pre season game and scored with his head. First game of season we never put a cross in the box till ha was taken off. Mobray cutting his nose off to prove a point and killing a kids confidence by playing a 5”9 midfielder up front

Seriously mate, if that's enough to kill his confidence the club should be ringing his mam and asking her to pick him up.

I'm fanatical about SAFC but from Durham and the NE in that order. My family were originally Border Reivers so Northumberland comes into how I feel.

I want the whole NE to prosper as long as it's fair. As I said, banter is fine, but there are Mags who won't buy a Nissan despite them living south of the Tyne.

I sometimes stay in Newcastle for games because Sunderland is often more expensive, it's no different to Manchester imo.

I grew up around mags all my mates a re mags and I guess there is no real logical explanation for me supporting Sunderland but I do.

If we are being honest here Newcastle is the better City I mean I never come to Sunderland for anything bit the match and occasionally work but I go into Newcastle maybe once or twice a month. I don't see myself as dirty as I dislike their football team it's simply closer for me and the City centre has a lot more to offer.

I always stand up for the city of Newcastle to southerners but make it abundantly clear I think their fans are mugs.

I'm a lot more Geordie than I am mackem although technically I'm from Northumberland but I choose to support Sunderland I've had a season ticket for over 10 years basically since I came home from uni.

Hopefully my lack of hate for Newcastle as a city and the fact all my mates are Newcastle fans doesn't make me any less of a Sunderland fan.

Which 5' 9" midfielder is playing up front?

East Boldon has always been much more Sunderland than Newcastle, still is.
Possibly mate but if you go in the Black Bull you may find quite a few Newcastle fans in there who will disagree, however I lived in the Colliery and to be fair it always seemed about 50 50 on support but is not always easy to judge
