Don’t think so , he is to rash going in to tackles and too prone to make mistakes for me ,09 will be a great DM in front of either a back 4 (or 5)

Oh! Right, well that should make him feel heaps better. The person who told him that has the man managed skills of a squirrelNot sacked, contract not renewed.

Aye I've heard they're all insensitive jobsworths them Squirrels like.Oh! Right, well that should make him feel heaps better. The person who told him that has the man managed skills of a squirrel![]()
Not over yet - the offer of $3.6m USD was rejected by the club, but UC are asking for €8m.That's that then.
And there's me thinking we'd signed two. Guess I was mistakenAnother game passes with no striker. Woeful planning by Speakman
Agreed, also struggles receiving the ball on the half turn n moving the ball quickly which is key to our cdms game. O9 is best as a cb imo, i just dont think he should be a week in out starterDon’t think so , he is to rash going in to tackles and too prone to make mistakes for me ,
Who's making **** up? i can't remember word for word what was said from a few weeks ago , he implied things were close. Why go on like a bellend about it?He didn't say we were close to signing anyone, he said had offers in. Why make **** up?
6 assumes Alese and O’Nien are CB’s. Although he has the frame Alese has been chosen at LB and hasn’t looked especially strong in the air. He might well end up a LCB but at the moment he’s a left back.I wouldnt give him another year, due to his age.
I'd likely give him till January, especially to help ease Seelt in to his new surroundings. But who are we to say Batth wants to stay for x months to mentor young defenders? He wants to play and also wants job security. We cant give him that, due to his age.
I'm more concerned about O9 getting the armband and being 1st choice, but Seelt and Alese will really challenge him, once both fit. Triantis also to prove himself.
For what its worth - i know somebody who is a DoF at a club, and he was absolutely loving Seelt - thinks we have bagged a real player.
Its impossible to keep 6 centre halves, and also madness. Something has to give.
They need to knock that on the head straight away then, it will never turn out well.Aye I've heard they're all insensitive jobsworths them Squirrels like.
To be fair, if his agent comes asking and wants answers we have a policy of being honest and upfront with our players it seems.
I think it’s good management, honest that he won’t be likely to get an extended contract so he can properly consider his options. Stringing him along would be **** management.Oh! Right, well that should make him feel heaps better. The person who told him that has the man managed skills of a squirrel![]()
Admittedly I've only read reports and watched a few Vids but I think mainly because he is non of these things. From what I've seen he looks similar to Stewart but more physical and a better turn of pace. Think we need someone who can lead the line hold the ball up and has a real eye for goal.Genuine question about Van Hoojdonk as I know next to nowt about him but why is it that he seems to be many of our fans’ preferred target? What little I’ve seen of him he seems to be quite immobile, cumbersome, limited technically and clumsy. I could be way off, as I say it’s a very limited sample I’m basing it off. He does seem to have that handy knack for strikers of being in the right place at the right time. That instinct is difficult to teach.
Great stuff. As I say, I’ve seen so little I fully expected to be wrong on that.Admittedly I've only read reports and watched a few Vids but I think mainly because he is non of these things. He was the one who wanted to be closer to his home wasn’t he?Being told you are getting sacked in a few month, and they wonder why his form has suffered
Sorry to say but if that was me I’d be another Jack Rodwell.
Nonsense, people get told every day, in every walk of life that their contract isn't being renewed. A good employer gives the recipient plenty of notice so that they can make new arrangements.Oh! Right, well that should make him feel heaps better. The person who told him that has the man managed skills of a squirrel![]()
No idea mate.He was the one who wanted to be closer to his home wasn’t he?
Ffs the club are being fairly open with him and it has been mentioned on here quite a few times that DB only has a year left on his contract and won't be offered the 3 year deal he wants because of his age. So they are allowing him to possibly go if he can find a club who will offer him the contract he wants, the club are being very fair with him and very upfront with the player. Not really the clubs to stand in his way but he may decide to stay. On his last couple of appearances though he has looked lacklustre and not really interested.I definitely would have kept Danny batth until at least January until aji alese is fit and up and running because I can see him and Ballard been the 2 main ch. We all like o'nien but there is no way we go up with him playing ch all season.
