i honestly think it is a fairly normal 'quote' from a manager/coach, as i posted earlier people pick a line and post it and people try to make some subtle suggestion in there when all he has said is that they 'might' sell some players 'if' the right deal comes in and 'if' it means they can get another player in they 'might' need...also makes sure he says they are not trying to push 'any' players out.

unless there was a lot more said i see no mention of any player or any position, he is just talking general football transfer window stuff...a couple of typo's down the thread and afore you know it those two players you mentioned are already on the way to 'some other club yet to be thought of'.

I've honestly never seen a manager suggest that their team could use current players wages better to strengthen other positions. Maybe you see quotes by every manager saying that. I never have that I can recall.

of course i do not see managers say that 'all the time' but in all honesty it says nothing except exactly what we know..that players might be sold or might be bought, anyone reading more than that into it is simply looking to create a story or hope to see it 'quoted' in one of the click bait sites.

There's plenty to read into. Just because you can't see the context between the lines doesn't mean it's not there.

geta ****ing grip yourself lad 'plenty to read into' there is **** all to read into it, it is perfectly well known that players get bought and sold, anything that you have decided to add is pure and simple stupid speculation...but it seems you can read 'whatever you want' but anyone else suggests that your (made up) 'version' is simply posted to see where it ends needs to 'get a grip'.

I've posted on a Sunderland message board where I talk daily to other fans about the club I love. I posted what I believe based on what I read.

You've decided I'm doing for some kind of "fame" on some kind of clickbait site that I don't even read. It's a bizarre take but you crack on fella.

Not quite, the info states that we’re “closely investigating” mate, or words to that effect. Should hopefully progress soon though, but apparently there’s some competition.
