I’m happy to reserve judgment on dack until we’ve seen him in the flesh, I am concerned that he is the forward in before the next game Mowbray was referring too, striker is way more important right now than another 10
I don’t know much about Dack. The quote from Wiki below suggests that he works very hard for the team - a must in out side:

Dack's manager at Gillingham between 2015 and 2017, Justin Edinburgh, described him as "the catalyst of [our] team...full of energy, he is tenacious, he has quality and he is a top player – definitely Championship quality", adding that he "probably covers more ground than any other player".[48][49]

We have 5 weeks till window closes.
I think it’s understandable why people are getting twitchy about a striker after the last few windows, criminal to be starting the season aiming for the top 2 with only a 19 year old who whilst he looks great has never played in English football before and the manager has said fitness wise he’s not fully up to speed, we need options if he’s knackered on 60mins v Ipswich with the squad as it stands we back to trying the false 9, we’ve seen how tight this league can be, having an extra striker is the difference between turning losses to draws and draws to wins

If I was technically any good, I would bring up a piece from Groundhog Day.

Southampton still sniffing around Stewart, but I cannot see them putting in a big bid as he is still out for the start of the season

Aye. posted that earlier - any team buying Stewart now will be taking a gamble on a lad who isn't fit yet. Am sure the injury itself has healed, but he's not yet in full training and the twists, turns and weight-bearing that are needed for a competitive game won't have happened yet. The sensible thing would be that he's here until Jan and everyone makes an assessment on his fitness. If he's fit, scoring goals and we get a reasonable bid, then let him go in Jan OR just keep, get promoted and write-off the £350k when he leaves on a free

one thing i'm a big believer in, is you never judge a window until it's shut,

last two years have turned out to be cracking windows, that's have improved us year on year, not everyone has agreed with club's decision but at the moment everyone has been the right one,

i think the club have earned the trust from fans at the moment

That’s not how depreciation (or amortisation) works mate

January was ****e mind

I mean we could use an older more experience one too….

We need one of those old farts we always dread coming on against us. There was a big thug who played for Gillingham I think, and he must have scored against us or created a goal every time he was chucked on in the last fifteen minutes.
