Moreover, the Americans are primed to get involved. They hate the Saudis and will challenge them at every turn....they've already had it with the golf....football will be next.
They just caved in to the Saudis with the golf didn't they!?Moreover, the Americans are primed to get involved. They hate the Saudis and will challenge them at every turn....they've already had it with the golf....football will be next.

No. They just cavedI don't know mate....I can't get interested in golf....did they? I thought they'd reached some kind of compromise to counteract the L1V thing? I could be wrong,of course.

Absolutely. And it’s not an overnight thing this is medium to long term there will be ups and downs people are just going to have to be patient and enjoy the ride it’s the right way to goLike Brighton and Brentford have?
It doesn't mean that at all if it's done right.
The Saudis are repeating what Sky did with the Premier League in 1992, and some here are starting to feel as the other European leagues did then.....all their best players heading to England in pursuit of the money. Human life has this annoying habit of making things go around and come around.

I expect they can afford to buy the senate too.Nope, the PGA did but now it’s gone to senate because there’s hell on.
Brighton and Brentford owners used to be in business together, they now don't speak at all . Both have the same model.
I think it's slightly different in that European clubs are selling Saudi their ****e for way above true market value. The Saudis might be trying to sportswash but there's a fair bit of FFP jiggery pokery going on as well, I'd wager.
Not every player tempted by Saudi is ****e. And a question is...if these clubs sell their players to Al Hilal for megadollars....how will they then spend?
Wonder if we'll have any new players through the door before the Mallorca game.
If Mbappe goes it'll change the equation I think. Top tier, in his prime.
I think Southampton tried to do the same thing last season and it completely backfired. It's how we adapt that model to take the next step. At the moment it's working for Brighton, but there'll come a point where two or three transfers don't work and they're in trouble. We see it all the time with clubs - get promoted, get to the point where they think they're established, spend big money to push on and it all goes pear shaped. Nobody has quite cracked that push on stage yet.

Hope so marra. To start the season we need back up goalie, left back cover, defensive midfield and at least one, maybe two, Championship ready strikers.
