Preston just signed a striker yesterday on a 3 year deal.
 
I'd have liked Cannon.

I trust them, but we NEED strikers. Probably two if/when Ross goes.
 
It’s not great knowing/assuming that the club are having to work further down their list of preferred striker targets however history is littered with examples of clubs not getting their first choices and it working out favourably for them. Weren’t we after David Connelly when we ended up with Phillips?

Is Cannon injured? Everton had 1st team and under 21 friendlies today. Strange he wasn’t at either.

Been saying the same since he come onto the scene at Charlton. Can't see it happening while Stewart is still here but looks like a ready-made replacement if/when that does happen, on the presumption that we'd want someone with a similar skillset.

“Down the list”? Love it to be true that anybody on here knows the list that speakman has drawn up but….
