This would surprise me as we’ve got Cirkin, Alese and Anderson who can play the LB and LCB roles…

I would be happy enough if we signed 2 additional strikers and nobody left. Perhaps, if I was being greedy, also a senior pro with a few years left who would immediately improve the team and be a shining light, to all of the young lads, of what can be achieved in your career if you get your break at Sunderland. *cough, cough....Henderson*

Yep, sign him up. YouTube clips are dangerous but I'd be delighted if we signed him. Jebbison too. Tailor made backup to RS.

Got to expect the unexpected in a transfer window. Could be some disappointments in there too. I will be the first to admit I hadn't heard of any of our recent signings yet there are some gems amongst them. Very excited to see who comes in think next season we will push for play offs I hope, might even see a new manager coming in.

The known is finite, the unknown infinite; intellectually we stand on an islet in the midst of an illimitable ocean of inexplicability. Our business in every generation is to reclaim a little more land, to add something to the extent and the solidity of our possessions. And even a cursory glance at the history of the biological sciences during the last quarter of a century is sufficient to justify the assertion, that the most potent instrument for the extension of the realm of natural knowledge which has come into men's hands, since the publication of Newton's ‘Principia’, is Darwin's ‘Origin of Species.

He looks brilliant. He wouldn't be cheap though, league one clubs know the money available in the upper reaches of English football.

Then he has to be developed. Our attraction to someone like him is that he'd get more football than he would for a premier League club. But we need to offer that, or he'd be better off staying at Charlton.

So does that mean you start to drop Stewart? I'm not sure they'd make a partnership.

Or is he part of the Stewart replacement, with the potential Stewart sale funding 2 to 3 strikers?
