I think Plymouth would offer 1m for Matete, but I'd like him to come back and be given a chance.

Agree with this, Bellingham has bigger potential in my opinion. There is no doubt that Michut is a tidy football but my biggest concern with him is physicality - which we know is massive in English football, he just doesn't cover enough ground for me. I wouldn't be against signing him but 2.5 million is a big out lay for a player that wont start for us. We have seen how much value there is out there and think we will go for others.

Appartently Bellingham is 700k up front and the rest in performance goals.

Think people need to ignore the name Bellingham and see him as a 6’2+ athletic brick **** house who has played over 24 championship games by the age of 17.

Is Bellingham definitely done mate? I know a lad at Brum who told me a couple of months ago he thought it had been done a while ago but didnt know why it had not gone through. He also said he is some prospect as well, not the level of his brother, but not miles behind either.

    Michut.
We agreed a fee but it’s up to him if he wants to come here.
We may lose out but there’s another similar deal we’re involved with.
I believe Cirkin has a £6million buy back clause from Spurs.
If he doesn’t want to go back he can chose to stay here.
We want Cirkin to refuse the deal and Michut to accept the deal.
    Interesting times.

I've reached out to a contact to see if he knows if its done or not - the team I scout for were looking at him closely as we thought he was going to join one of the top top clubs in Europe then we could sign on loan so will see if anyone has heard anything at the club.

He is a very good prospect, I feel for the lad as people keep comparing to his bro but his bro is one of the best 16/17 yr old's I've ever seen. Jobe is talented though and is exactly the type of player we should be signing. I think we might use him more as a no10 to begin with and then occasionally as a 8

That helps me as I know nowt about him and barely any more about his brother beyond his reputation. Goes to show he's going to be up to the physical side of it at the very least.

Spurs won't be activating the buyback, imo. His injury may have been a blessing in disguise, in a way.

Just been thinking……With us losing Amad and expectations are if we sign the correct replacement can we really have such a good season next year.
Just how influential was he in our success, was it his goals and assists that softened the blow of losing LND.
Is this kid irreplaceable or am I bigging him up too much.
    Thoughts anyone.

The lad was outstanding for us and scored some important goals especially from the right, however in Roberts I still think we have the best right winger in the league.

As long as we manage to sort the striker issue I honestly think we will do even better.

The lad I know is a scout at Brum. He reckons Jude was the best young player any of the coaches had ever worked with.

Every player is replaceable with the right recruitment - don't think any of us imagined Amad being as good as he was for us so it wouldn't surprise me if our recruitment have someone lined up

Agree with all of this mate.

As good as Amad did he did have quite a few very poor games, but TM couldn't take him off due to always having a moment of brilliance in his locker. Sometimes even felt like he was shoehorned in once we started playing Roberts more often.

Swe might find a couple of good strikers and find we don't miss him in terms of results. But I'd still have him back tomorrow because his moments of brilliance were better than anyone else on the pitch and great viewing.

Still like Clarke more personally for his all round game and Roberts is better in full flow, he has speed and skill to beat multiple opponents with ease.

All in all losing him is **** but we still have quality.

Utd paid around £ 25m for him I think. When he was 18!. So clearly, some player in there, and his time here really started to bring it out.

Only becomes an issue for Cirkin if Spurs want to sign him and then only if he wants to go. With Michut it sounded as though we are obligated to sign him unless he decides against it.

If we've been patient and after Bellingham for this long, and bided our time until we got him. I wonder if this is what has been happening with the centre forwards. I know we've been tracking Jebbison for ages aswell so hopefully we've got someone similar we've been after that will end up here.
