Think speakman has said that bellingham will be used as a 10 next season - thats his best position at the min

I wonder if we will play like city do in terms of a defender stepping into midfield more. I know hume did it at times last season but hes quality at retaining possession, id love to see games where we play that 3241 formation when in possession.

Isolate clarke n roberts against fullbacks n cirkin or alese tuck in

Think we will have so much versatility next season, will help make small tweaks in game to cause teams problems

I think having 2 decent full backs is what puts me off playing with 3 at the back to be honest especially if we sign another decent midfielder.

Obviously it’s very slim but if we get Diallo back there’s absolutely no chance we’re leaving our Him, Clarke or Roberts out for a centre back surely?

I agree with all of that, but the numbers at centre back don't add up to me for that. I wonder if someone else is away. We're going to have either one of our new CB, Alese or O'Nien who aren't going to get on the bench most weeks.

It doesn't seem a practical way to utilise the budget imo, unless we're going a standard 3 at the back. I have complete trust in the club though, so I'll wait and see how it pans out. I just can't put the pieces together in my head yet.

It's all on the data. The data has indicated we should play 3 at the back for a while. That said, it only takes a few results or injuries to change that.

What we see now is players getting signed who are agile. I expect to see KS mention being agile and adaptable given the league moving forward.

Couple of key players will sign on. One will probably leave. Depends in the business coming in too.

Amad would be great but I know the club are proceeding on the basis it's not a goer. Correct IMO.

I'd like to see us set up 433 at some point next season, Clarke and Roberts as wide forwards with 1 central striker.

Midfield 3 of Neil, Ekwah and A N Other, should get us higher up the pitch and strengthens the middle of the pitch with 3 in there

Yep. I’m down for trying this, suits the squad best.

DM needs to be a monster for it to work though.

Doesn't sound good for Pritchard as he's pretty much a No.10 playing behind a lone striker, can't really play in centre midfield or on the left of a front 3 so becomes the odd one out?

Cheers for the info mate. Let’s hope the CDM is someone who can dictate play because I don’t think that’s Neil and I’ve no idea what Bellingham is like but if he’s b2b then he’s not a dictator either.

Are the club looking at other high profiles loans on the basis Diallo won’t be back?

Thats the most important thing, agile players

Need to be fluid and be able to adapt to different formations easily

Don't know mate.

That's fair too specific.
