ThanksOnly news on Roberts I can find is that we've offered him a three year deal, supposedly it's not an improvement on wages but that doesn't sound right. Nothing new beyond that.

He is only 17. I personally think he speaks brilliantly, especially for a kid of his age, he seems to have a good head on his shoulders.
I’ve no issue with what he says there either. He doesn’t say he won’t do it, in fact the opposite:
“Wherever he asks me to play I’m going to play so I don’t mind.”
Just that it’s not his preference:
“I don’t really fancy playing regularly as a number nine.”
I don't think its either of these things. He's a very mature, calm and open speaker. I think its more a case of him admitting its out of position for him and that its not where his strengths lie. It shows confidence that he knows where he should be playing, rather than arrogance.
For me it would be naive of him to now be thinking that he might be a number 9 after a couple of decent performances. And it shows maturity that he knows it’s an interim thing.
Once hes back we suddenly have an influx of strikers in the squad for the first time in years
'why the **** did you sign so many strikers man Speakman?!?!'
...and there it is the first winge
Only joking

Didn't see Ekwah there either, hope he's not injured ffsAny sign of Aouchiche here? Roberts is back as expected.

Thinking about it, it's a hugely depleted group (no Pritchard, no Ellis Taylor etc), it may just be that they're doing their warm ups in a couple of groups. There was talk of an internal or behind closed door friendly in the week, maybe those involved or not involved are doing more or less recovery work.Didn't see Ekwah there either, hope he's not injured ffs
At 17 years old, I think you should keep your mouth closed and got on with it.
I don’t think you should be saying where you fancy playing and where you don’t.
It’s only my opinion of course.

A bit different. Direct with an eye for goal.
Wont expect too much too soon but got a good feeling about this lad.
Not a bad comparison and he does look hard as nails.Gelhardt with a concealed cosh is how I see him.
No reason to think he is. This is likely the 1st training session since the Southampton gameDidn't see Ekwah there either, hope he's not injured ffs
We have 4 strikers now, I see no reason why he should have to play up top for mor than a game or two ( that’s my opinion ).
Ah bollocks,Can I be the first to whinge about your spelling![]()
4th in the Turkish league last year, plating in the europa conference and managed by Patrick Klivert.https://x.com/fabrizioromano/status/1702027765850030255?s=46&t=bFwez-5oi7CdxUG56_1QKg
Think he’s better than this move, can only assume his attitude isn’t right at the minute, still young enough to have a good career
Poor research on my part!4th in the Turkish league last year, plating in the europa conference and managed by Patrick Klivert.
Not a bad move for him
A more robust Broadhead is what I’m hoping for.Gelhardt with a concealed cosh is how I see him.
