I'm going to throw this in, I think there's some plan going on here for Saudi to be building a league to rival the European ones (dare I say superleague). Atm they're paying big money for players who are past their best, but with the obscene amounts being thrown around how long before they land a big name in his prime? And once that happens and the dam breaks others will join.

I can see Gerrard with his name in the game, being brought to Saudi as part of the project to do the same with managers as well.

I heard toons beheading fund just bought their 4th team in the top saudi league.

Im not even sure how many teams are in the Saudi league but it made me chuckle about the east owning all the west's sports in a few years cos they got the golf too recently.

Im cool with that tho cos golf is ****

PS did you know that Riyad Mahrez alone has now won 4 more Premier League titles than Stevie Mee ... and 3 more than Liverpool FC? <whistle>

Eventually the PL will go cap in hand like the PGA asking to be merged with the Saudi Pro League.

Champions League final in Riyadh. Half-time entertainment, chopping off Richard Keyes head. I'd probably pay to watch that tbf.

If it was under the old rules, he'd never of won a European Cup, I swear they changed it just for him.

I'm hopeful that Gerrard might be able to persuade Rodgers to fook off there as well.

Just seen the Saudis have sent a delegation over to naymadge.

He went to france for the £££ so thats nailed on<laugh>
