Brentford are apparently dropping Toney's asking price of £50 million due to lack of interest... feels like he would be a better Spurs fit ... certainly at £15-£20 mill less ...

I would’ve taken Toney but when Ange joined us he mentioned how he only wanted players that purely wanted to join Spurs and not just wanted to leave their current club. I respect it in a way but it also can potentially cost us some good players where frankly we all know money is the key factor in their signing.

That's why it takes so ****ing long for us, obviously the selling club, ie in this case Palace want the money up front, as they should. They probably call it some bullshit business term but it is just a payment plan cos we don't want to spend our real money.

Still not convinced on Guehi. Thought he looked error prone in the Euros and managed to get away with a few mistakes.

Opposite to Mike Ashley then, didn’t he do everything cash to get a better deal?

no idea why we are buying neto. we have so many players and the one player i wanted to keep (gallagher) we sold off because we don't have any money (also why we are selling chalobah, one of our best defender)

Will have to sell some more gems to make up for it next year.
 
The prices for Neto and Solanke are crazy

Chelsea and Spurs wasting some serious money. Don’t see how either player takes either club to the next level.
 
Peeps are seriously underestimating Neto. He was great for a terrible Wolves side and definitely good enough to step up for a top 6 side. He’s better than Jota.

Said the same on our board, really wanted him at Spurs.

Don't think many realise how good he is but more importantly how good he's gonna get. If he steers clear of injuries he's gonna tear defences apart.

9 assists in 20 games for a piss poor defensive minded side, last season. He could be lethal in a side who are on the front foot a lot. Not sure that will be Chelsea mind…
