did i ever say i wouldn't? as long as he's within our wage bracket then i'd be happy. he scores goals, he's quite creative although i'd prefer someone very creative 
i much prefer younger players but if an older guy comes along who is much better than what we have we shouldn't be put off if the deal suits us

If it's anything more than a recycled/dreamed-up story regarding Hooper or Quagliarella I'd be very surprised. I doubt it's anything we haven't already heard. The mainstream newspapers are always slower than us in listening to rumours from twitter and smaller sites.
Celtic holding out for more than £5m for Hooper now... I really want to sign him, but the price tag is starting to get silly!

Regarding Fer, I have heard him likened to Patrick Vierra. If this is even close to true we have a massive player. In my opinion Vierra wae Arsenal in his day. Since he left they have won nothing.

Having sold Wanyama to Saints, Celtic are likely to be looking for a replacement DM, so Tettey or Johnson would seem to make more sense. Maybe the sticking point is that they want Johnson but we are offering Tettey.
