Just a thought, I wonder if we could get a good deal on Danny Graham, he's had a terrible time at Sunderland but you don't turn into a bad player overnight. I wonder if being back home isn't all he thought it would be.

Unfortunately though I don't remember him bring a 'good' player.

We did sign Vaughn though!

Bah!

And Vaughan this year has played more matches in a single season than ever before, allbeit for Huddersfield. We also took on an injury plagued Whitbread and his career was resurrected. Indeed, when we were basically skint and barely able to buy any one, we took a calculated risk on several injury afflicted players and owe a tremendous debt to our physio team. <ok>

Hope that you sign some decent players in this window so that you become a very strong Premiership side.
I see that Simeon Jackson don't have a club yet which is a shame, hopefully he gets a new club soon.
Gillingham have at last signed Cody McDonald today on a free, we should have brought him from you last time we had a chance.

I thought Simeon was joining Bournemouth? Has that fallen through? Shame if it has. <ok>

Olsson took a picture with a fan on Riverside a few moments ago too - the picture's on twitter. Now we wait for a press conference to be announced I suppose!

He was still injured during last season though. And whitbread still had his share of injuries during his time with us (No idea how he faired last season?) Ayala is an ongoing concern in that respect too.
I do agree that they are a good team and deserving of our appreciation though! Just saying that no matter what Physio team is in place some players are just a bit breakable hopefully Fer and his knee will not fall into that catagory.

Bah!

mcnally will be telling leoroy all about the norfolk broads, how it is nice and flat and very similar to the Netherlands. he'll feel like he at home.

<laugh> I was on the broads (Hickling) yesterday and I saw a disused windpump...which was built by the Dutch who were experts at land reclamation. It would make a quirky home for "our" Leroy? :emoticon-0112-wonde

as the robert chase era is a seriously heated debate, can i suggest making a separate thread for it as i can see this transfer thread getting completely blown out of the water?* i'd love to make a few comments but this could go on and on and on!

back to transfers, the club have confirmed martin olsson <ok>

*not that i'm trying to tell anyone where they can or can't post - just think it will go a bit crazy!!

Agreed

Good news on Olsson, not a quantum leap forward in quality (when measured against Garrido, maybe against Tierney) but much needed competition at LB.

Bah!
