Funny that what you consider to be the highpoints in your lifetime so far -- "10points clear at the top in the PL under Mike Walker and when we beat Bayern M was pretty good too" -- both occurred when we were apparently being run by "a clown". Robert Chase was on the club board from 1982 until he resigned in 1996, and for 10 of those years was chairman, the most successful the club has ever known. The fact that it ended as it did should not obscure the fantastic job he did over more than a decade (which was why he was rightly elected later to the NCFC Hall of Fame). To refer to him as "a clown" is a travesty, both of the man and the truth.
