Dont like Quaresma. He was poor at Chelsea. I saw him playing for Portugal. He was running completely unchallenged and decided to show off with a little step over. He messed up and the ball rolled off behind him. Great position wasted.

To me, thats just like Adams wasteful Hollywood passes.

Yeh, you may be right.

He was the next big thing once upon a time, wasn't he?

All fair points.

I'd take Ramirez ahead of Carroll if I'm honest. Technique, pace and guile for me.

EDIT:

Just found this snippet from Bellamy about Allen, dated 2nd July.

“On the Wales front, I’d have to go with Swansea’s Joe Allen," he told reporters.

"He’s special. He has made so many key plays for Swansea last season and I would be shocked if Liverpool did not go for him this summer.

"He’s a Brendan Rogers player, he fits Liverpool to a tee. If Liverpool are able to secure him, they will have a real gem of a player.”

Is it just me or is Bellers talking like he has already left/doesn’t play for Liverpool in that interview?

We could probably great a decent side from players who had to choose between signing for Spurs or us.

Friedel, Sigurdsson, Suarez, Cole, Van Der Vaart (according to the player), Adam, maybe Johnson?

Definitely <ok>

I'd much rather we tried as hard as we can do get Ramirez rather than Allen. Do I think he'll join us? No, I don't :(

If Swansea want £15M from us, there is no way that someone as tight as Levy will play ball with them.

Agreed. Swansea have no chance of getting the 15m from Spurs, and hopefully if they're not willing to spend the 15m on Allen, they won't spend around 20 on Ramirez, although he is a better player from what I've seen <ok>

I'd say they're different players.

We need a player like Ramirez more, but Allen would be a great addition regardless.

That would be fantastic SJD

At a wedding at the moment and if last night is anything to go by, I am in serious trouble tonight :)
