Guaranteed you will be trained to pass the ball. Brendan has always maintained that British players are as skillful as continental (and lets not forget ... you have a few continental types in your team already).Hard work ahead during the summmer.

Thing is, BR has been given far too much credit for our style. Our players have been playing it out from the back for 5 years now under 3 different managers. There will be some old dogs who may not take to the new tricks so quickly. Also, it is easy for BR to take the blame for a misplaced back pass for a Swansea side expected to go down.... will he get the same charity at Liverpool?

BR knows one way .... if he is as good as he believes (and we felt), he will get you playing mighty fine .... BUT YOU MAY HAVE TO BE PATIENT FOR THE FIRST 2 MONTHS OF THE SEASON AND LOOK AT THE DETAIL, RATHER THAN THE RESULT.

The other question is his ability to sign players. All we ever saw that were succesful, were players who played for him before. I am sure 'the mighty' Liverpool don't fancy a squad of ex-Chelsea youth, Reading, Watford and Swansea (in 1 years time) players

Well, here's hoping and thanks for the reply!

I certainly always look at detail, which made this season depressing (more so) especially because my friends took the piss out of my more 'detailed' view. But the majority of fans don't bother with tactics, forums, opinions and so on in much detail.

Massive rumours we are about to sign Milos Krasic from Juventus either £6m or 6m euros dependin which source you read, surely get Aqua in the deal and pay even less

Throw in Dos Santos who can finally get out of that hell hole in Tottenham and that is newly foun width , pace, and creativity <ok>

Would prefer Elia, but Krasic would be good and if for some reason that helped us sign, say Honda, from CSKA or Doumbia that would be sweet as well.

Isn't Krasic 'about to sign' for every club in the top leagues around Europe?
His agent is like a tout outside the ground on match day.

Agreed about Bale, he also seems far too inconsistent, although on his day, he is a great player to have in the team. Lennon is also a 50/50, I'd take him for around £10m, no more though.
 
You've been gone for so long Jatt, it just hasn't been the same :(

I expressed it in another thread but I would love to take a punt on Dos Santos, who we know wants out of there, who Rodgers was trying to get in. Quality Mexican interntional who needs a little confidence and I think he could take off for us.

Could be about 5 mil for him as well.

Ohh, been really busy lately, I sometimes lurk around and post when there's something to be said.

Dos Santos might be worth it for around 5mil, good re-sale value and potential
