If its the goals compilation you watched their strip sponsor changes a couple of times in it so I would guess no?
What was interesting from that compilation was how many of his goals came from crosses out wide. There was a nice mixture of head & feet but he will need quality delivery to him just like our existing forwards

Sig could well end up being a fantastic signing if it happens, really like him. Lively, dynamic, technical, bold.
Soldado is a fantastic player, well rounded striker who's got ability to play in different styles and formations. He wouldn't come cheap, I think around 25mill is about his market value - especially since Valencia are in the CL and wouldn't want to lose him.
Seems like Valencia are going to be shafted this summer, with the imminent departure of Jordi Alba pretty much assured.
With Villarreal going down I'm not sure why we're not linked with some of their players - especially Rossi. He was injured most of the season, resulting in Villarreal going down - he won't want to play in Liga Adelante, and surely wouldn't command more than 20m now as he'll surely hand in a transfer request if there is real interest for him.

Yeah, makes it sweeter that he'd come to us I suppose especially as he barely got a game before being shifted on, and would be coming to us now as a star striker.

Correct. Came back from the first and then got injured again with the same problem. I'd say he's a major risk and one to avoid really. Nilmar is good though

We've done **** all business so far and Chelsea/Arsenal/Man Utd have made a heap of signings (Kagawa, Powell, Podolski, Hazard, Marin and now seemingly Giroud will be added to that list).

Last season we did not have the finishing touch to to many of our crosses into the box.The crooses were coming in just no one there or poor touch or just plain bad luck.From what i saw of Solvado he is a goal poacher and i think that if Suarez on the left forward and Solvado in the box bet ye that we would get more goals and if Andy starts coming up with the goals to we will well improve up front from last season.
So if the reports are right and we get him he would be a good addition

Problem with South Americans at that age in this country is the work permit,seems ridiculous our government which normally seems to let in every tom,dick n arry normally with immigration, wont let in someone who will pay a fortune in tax, yet countries like Portuagal n Spain will, puttin us in the prem at a disadavantage
We do now have a South American scout ( Claudio Caniggias (the ex Argentine strikers )brother), would be typical of Liverpool to employ a new SA scout, and NOT look into what steps to take in order for the signing of South American players regarding work permits
