Don't want Walcott. He can run, but there is very little end product

Quaresma could be good - pace, trickery, spark - worth points all on his own.

BUT he could fall out with his team-mates for being ball greedy, waste chances, lose us matches and fall out with the staff.

He has the ability to do both, and I wouldn't like to see him do the latter for his own safety - Carra is about.

Nicky Butt would be a class signing. Ex Manc but his quality would be worth it. <ok>

Brian Laudrup.

"He is worth a lot of money because he’s a good player," said Laudrup.
"The manager knows him and knows if he wants to change the way Liverpool play he needs a player in the midfield like Joe Allen.
"But he also knows he’s very, very expensive. We saw they bought a couple of midfielders in the last few years for a lot of money, but with all due respect Joe is on a level above.
"In my opinion, if one is worth £17m then Joe is worth more, perhaps over £20 million. I’m talking as a football man not as a chairman but if the chairman asks my advice then I will tell him the same."

What a stupid comment. We should turn around and say Suarez was brought for £20mil and he's twice the playet Allen is so does that make him worth £10mil? But then Carroll was brought for £35mil and Allen is probably better than him does that make him worth £40mil? :emoticon-0112-wonde

How's your summer shopping going?

Happy with Brendan's buys so far?

I expect last minute dealing to be how we go. What's that Mr. Chairman, your player is unsettled and is demanding a move? Well, we can go as far as £2.50, but not a penny more, times are hard you know!

Times ARE hard. Like my cock....for Laudrup's magnificent transfer dealings.
We're expecting our 4th exciting signing this week having lost, ummmm
No one
Our problem is getting some out of the door as they all want to stay and continue to be part of something truly special.

I wouldn't expect lots of last minute deals if you've only got £2.50

No offence but I imagine it's easier to improve the Swansea squad than it is Liverpool's.

Laudrup is doing well so far though. Michu should work out, Miku is decent enough. Don't know Flores.

It certainly seems difficult.

Flores looks good so far.
