If it matters to anyone, last night LA played Tottenham in their first pre-season friendly.

Tottenham did not look stunning at all and were missing Modric, Saha and Parker. Also, bar the assist, Sigurdson could not hold onto the ball to save his life and was pretty woeful ( couldn't help but smile when he had a bad touch).

But if they put this young lad Townsend and Walker on the same side, they will cause absolute havoc, they were killing it last night.

Back to us, big game tonight and I am ****ing coaching during it so will miss the game ( have it set to record though) <grr>
 
bluff saha has left spurs....

the nice thing about newcastle and pardew is you can sit back and quietly smile cos as sure as night follows day they are going to implode again.

just like how happy harry's invincible spurs fell apart and be bought nelson and saha then got the sack and then spurs throw in the big name foreigner newcastle will eventually do themselves in by just letting thier team go to pot.

I really just laugh at them really cos each time their fans do the same thing regarding getting all high and mighty over stuff then end up in the championship. I have to say the way LFC fans end up talking thier own side down when we've been so high in the table consistently over the years since our last title and how we've consistently won things over time is contrary to the wum "next year will be our year" line.

Saha left? That has to be a record or something? Well might just be on par with our Keane handling. <doh>
 
I have always hated Pardew ever since he scored against us for Palace in the fa cup semi in 1990. To be fair to him he has done well as a manager but he is guilty of one piece madeness when he was with West Ham and that was when he played Hayden Mullins every week instead of Mascherano.
 
Apparently one of the West Ham owners sons has been saying on Twitter that the club are about to burst their transfer record up to twice as much as they've ever paid (that'd be £18M).
