Realistically RLB only had so much time to put teams together and get the results, it wasn't the time to f*ck around.
If all the players suggested by supporters, were dropped/chosen/subbed or 'given minutes' we'd have gone through the entire squad ten times over.
Aleksic may return, or not, and could be the best player we've ever allowed to leave or the best who returned.
In my opinion we don't know enough about him from the time he's had or the positions he's played to make a real judgement.
When you look at the group of players who've been written off you'd find Aleksic, Mundle, Hume, Mayenda, Isidor, Watson and many more.
To me that shows how little we know, as supporters, when all we have to go on is what we see on the pitch ...
... all the training, group coaching, assessments, mental/physical studies, individual coaching, etc etc etc is a mystery to us.
If the club feel this is, currently, the best option for Aleksic I have no option but to agree.
I wanted him to play more, during the playoff period, and perhaps RLB felt the same but sometimes you have to put someone in just to get that result.
It doesn't always have to be the most skilful or even previously effective ...
... Patrick Roberts was the right man at the right time but I doubt many at Wembley would've been baying for him to take the pitch.
