i wonder if with so little time left and some players going on international duty, we might see medicals in Madrid/Paris/London etc as necessary.

No there is a potential fee for if he doesnt play enough games, like a sanction from chelsea essentially.

Yeah hes really quite raw, 2 years ago was in the spanish non-league then a year ago was in the third tier.
Getafe took a "punt" although not really as he was quite highly touted in spain, I think he ends up a 20 goal+assist a season player if he keeps developing even remotely close to how he has so far in his career. Big physical nuisance but surprisingly technical, palace seems a good fit although its an eze replacement with a fraction of the chance creation and more pure running and bullying people alongside mateta.
His stats might be a bit all over the place cos he started in centre mid, but recently is a striker. He’s got a bit of everything and is a 6”3 powerful unit. Young with room to grow. Will be a good signing for someone but might need a bit of time to adapt.

£5m was the fee paid by Chelsea to Man Utd to release them from their obligation to buy Sancho after his loan had ended. I imagine an initial loan fee was paid when Sancho went there in the first place.
