It’s fairly mad to me that with less than 24 hours to go of the window with us, in my opinion, needing to do 15 or so more pieces of business that this thread is falling down the board with no posts for 45 minutes due to the lack of links.

I personally fully expect that we’re going to fall short of what we need to do now, at least on outgoings.

we’ll definitely not do all the outgoings we might have done. But then I expect several may get released tomorrow so they can find new clubs.

Interesting. These two very close and looks to me like dalen has some small ‘involvement’ with his business

Interesting player. I think he’s definitely a better right back but he went through a spell playing as a DM and he bossed it playing that position.

Yep can play RB and DM well

CB decent too just fancy him more as a RB
 
Would make sense if the club see Mukiele as a CB now. Save money on Lucumi too for a top attacker

have this lad competing with Hume at RB

Sounds about right, This guy was well renowned for being quick and very good on the ball at Feynoord just hasnt worked out at RB

Yeah that’s his position but more than comfortable playing him in midfield during AFCON when Diarra and Sadiki are away.

Is it ****. We’ve already got too many left backs. Why do we need to add another right back? We’d be far better off adding a proper centre half option to push Onien down to fifth choice and allow mukiele to cover both. Given how robust Hume is, this is overkill in a position where we’ve got sufficient cover, while leaving us needing a little more quality in a more important position.

I thought you liked versatility? This is a cheaper version of what we were going to do anyway.

I think it would be a really sensible signing. Covers right back, centre back and centre midfield during AFCON. Allows Mukiele to play in a balanced centre back pairing with Alderete, and means we don’t have to bring in another centre back.

It’s not overkill

Mukiele becomes a CB who can play RB rather than the other way round and geertruida is the right back cover

who can also cover CB and midfield
