Sorry to clog the thread, but just want to say thank you for all the support and well wishes I've received recently.

My wife had her operation today and had the tumour fully removed from her spine. It took quite a while (it was about 8cm) so my arse was twitching all day. But hopefully this is the start to her full recovery.

Thanks again for your support, and haway the wizards <cheers>
Brilliant

But we could spend 8m on Djilobodji 10 m on Oviedo/love/mcnair/gibson and 14m on ndong ?
Yep. Until this summer Moyes spent more in one transfer window than any other manager in our history.

Kone would have been class still under SA and Kirchhoff would have still been able to play. I honestly believe SA would have had us comfortable that season we went down. Mid-table at worst.

The recruitment has been out of this world backed up by better coaches so I am expecting more than 17th. I will also be disappointed if I spend the majority of the season worrying about relegation and if I have Leeds fans pecking my head constantly. However there will be no toys out of the pram if I don’t get everything I want.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery for her. Also, although she is your priority, and rightly so, please make sure you look after yourself.
My wife is still in hospital and they still dont know where her infection is coming from and they are doing tests for potential blood clot in her right leg. She couldn't bear any weight on it after using a commode today and they had to use a hoist to get her back into bed, just as I was arriving this afternoon, after which she zonked out with the painkillers and antibiotics. Fortunately they stopped me going into the room until it was done.
I only say this as I have felt **** all day but reading your message puts it into perspective and made me realise I also need to look after myself.
Good luck FPDP :emoticon-0152-heart

Good luck and healthing thoughts and prayers to both your wives, hope they make speedy recoveries

In a summer full of great news for SAFC supporters this is probably the best. Hope recovery goes well.
