After the expiration of John Janer Lucumí's high release clause, Sunderland formalizes a formal offer to Bologna for the Colombian.Galatasaray has also made formal inquiries.
Absolutely. We need to find the best way to get a decent return on our investment. A lot of people don't consider all the effort that goes in.
Missed a bit of today. Am I right in saying Lucumi’s looking probably ? The Leicester lad less so
Imagine having the busiest transfer window of all time and not even needing deadline day. That's what's somehow even more impressive than the fact we've brought in some incredible players. We've done it quickly, early and decisively.
Can’t go off the Norther Echo unfortunately. Scott Wilson tends to put stories out there which have been reported on TwitterRomano and Keith both say we've bid for Lucumi and Bologna don't want to sell. But he only has one year left on his deal and wants to join us.
Random journo says we've bid for Fatawu. Pingu says we haven't, but Northern Echo say we have.
Northern Echo also say we are confident on both.
That might get it over the line
10/10 window if we pul
More than happy with that should it happen. And I think that may be us done in the window for incoming if both Jhon Lucumi and Abdul Fatawu comes in
The it just be out going

I wouldn’t say no to Hoijlund on loan like. We’ve got a loan spot to fill as well if needed!
Cheers. Northern Echo say anything. Lucumi doesn’t sound close yet then but sounds probable.Romano and Keith both say we've bid for Lucumi and Bologna don't want to sell. But he only has one year left on his deal and wants to join us.

I get your point but only morons would have written off the three you mention. I think both alese and huggins have potential but don't see either as being prem ready and players we can rely on for at least a couple of years. They aren't kids either so it's time to move them on. The model was to buy young and develop them in championship and hopefully like Hume, mayenda and ballard they can make step up.Neither huggins or ballard is ready to step in to the premier league and we can't just hoard players. I don't think it's best for the players or club. We are now buying a better calibre of player with first team European experience and hopefully can develop into prem players.I wouldn't suggest we should.
However Alese and Huggins are similar to O'Nien, Hume, etc. If the club believe they have the talent and attitude worthy of persevering it's by far the cheapest and simplest avenue to go down. Clearly, it has to be for the right reasons but ditching players too quickly can mean losing a Ballard, Mundle or Mayenda ...
... all three have been written off by supporters, at various points, but not by the club ... how much are they now worth combined.
What I suppose I'm saying is that we're not the best judges.

It is harsh, but its fair to say it wouldn’t be a surprise if he was injured again at some point this season.Incredibly harsh on Ballard if he has to drop out. Admittedly not everyone will be fit at the same time but it's some defensive squad we are building.
Should be alese not ballardI get your point but only morons would have written off the three you mention.
