Miller wouldnt have classed as home grown. English and Welsh only.
At this rate we will be doing well to have 1 Englishman in the team.

That surprises me, thought homegrown would have been UK and Ireland. Should be the same as the international rule then, whereby someone can qualify to play for a country through their ancestry. No good having 1 rule for 1 thing and another rule for something else.

English and Welsh teams allowed in the league is the basis I think.

I’m going to say at 1-0 I still thought it was over a minute or two before the equaliser I said to my dad I can’t see where a goal was going to come from and then BANG BIG MAN SCORES
At 70 minutes, there was only one team who were going to go on and win it. Sheff U were a done force at that point. Just Like Old Trafford with Gus back in 2014, I never had any doubts, not a single one we would win..

The pace we seem to have bought in is impressive, when I talk about physicality I often refer to how quickly a player can cover the ground and we've def improved in this area

Hopwfully a few more still to come in as still lacking X factor players imp

Assuming Mukelele signs, if we can get Lucumi over the line too, that would be our defence sorted, like the midfield has been. Just a high level forward and we'll have sealed all boxes. Unbelievable window regardless.

Just for context on this new lad Wrexham paid more for Nathan Broadhead
The way I see the new lad. We are paying to PSG what they paid for him a couple of years ago. My overarching sense is he maybe hasnt improved since then, or alternatively become valuable to PSG. Therefore he is available at the price he is.

Trying to work out why clubs pay or sell at prices is tricky. It isnt always about the pure talent of the player. Selling clubs have factors in play, buying clubs may see a fit to their squad, player may suit an environment better. Now I would not pay £10m for Broadhead, but I can see Wrexham and their fans valuing a Welsh core in an attempt to create a certain club atmosphere.

If we sign Lucumi now on top of what we’ve done (including Nordi) then the defence is superb.

Sorry but you don’t know what you’re talking about. All the pundits on the telly said that Sunderland were second best for long periods and the result was harsh on Sheffield United. You need to know your place :emoticon-0105-wink:

Its a valid point mate. Bit like the Liverpool keeper that Brentford bought this summer (cant even attempt at spelling it), i thought his fee was low for such a highly rated keeper, but Liverpool were obviously happy with the deal.
