Leeds and Burnley fans still leaning in ‘we finished x points ahead of you’ is mental.

We clearly already had players who’d get into both their 11 and we have added so much.

If we list all 3 expected first 11 now I’d choose ours all day and night. Leeds well ahead of Burnley.

Then it’s looking at Wolves and Brentford and thinking ‘where are we v them’.

Id have us insanely close to both. And all it takes is one or 2 of the ‘maybe’ players like Talbi or Sadiki to take to the league and we are ahead.

Back 5 feel PL.
CM is absolutely PL.
Wingers, ability is there but we need to see if they ‘ready now’
Up front is a bit of a Hail Mary.

We are certainly close. The uncertainty remains ‘how good are we?’

Could be anywhere from 17th - 10th really. I wager at least a couple of these young lads blows us away once settled.

I’m calling Diarra takes to the league like a duck to water, with Talbi and Sadiki finding feet early in season.

i think Sadiki will be the one everyone is raving about by Christmas. Theres just something about him

Aye. He’s just game as a badger and looks fearless.

He’s learning of Granit, Enzo and Diarra.

He’s gonna be quality.

Just read your post again.

At any point after Wembley did you even think they would be our players?

I've said it before but our u18 and u21 young lads are going to learn so much from them let alone the young lads in the first team squad

Agree, I said to another mate that ignore the 20+ point gap as we switched off for 5 games. It was closer than that. I'd say we are about level with Leeds with Burnley behind.

I'd also say that Sheff Utd were close enough to Burnley, at one point, to have overtaken them.

It was only Wilder losing the plot that blew it for them.

I’m still not convinced I haven’t blacked out after Burrows’ volley and this is all a dream

If someone said after we were promoted there’d be doubts that le fee would get in the starting 11 for the first game of the season youd be sectioned!

Haven't told anyone this but during the playoff final I was laying by the pool of the cruise ship and constantly refreshing for updates. When Burrows scored the second. I put my phone down and said to my wife "at least it was over quickly" and went in the pool with my kids.

Didn't look back at my phone until 15-20 mins later to see it still 1-0 and back on the nerves...

Mad that we’ve reached the point now were the Mukiele link wasn’t ’don’t be daft’ it was ‘sound’

The whole energy of the club has flown.

‘yeah just a CL standard defender having a medical no biggie’

I remember being absolutely devastated when it went in. Then when it went to var texting my mates praying there was an offside

I don’t even want to think about what our summer would have been if the result went the other way

What a crazy moment. I know me and the lads had forgotten about VAR being in use. Then it came up on the scoreboard…

I think we all had an inkling in that moment it might be our day, it had just started to drain that hope when Big Man (TM) scored.

That touch by Tommy, that ball by Paddy. BANG.

In that moment we stopped thinking about Tom Cannons.
