If Seelt puts a good shift in on Sat i dont see why we'd loan him out. Keep him as 2nd/3rd choice, have Onien as 4th choice and loan Alese out.
Obviously that all changes if another CB signs

Tough balancing his personal development with helping the squad out, glad it’s not my job, would absolutely be keeping him around personally

It's the English tax mate. It is unpayable. If this lad was English, at his peak age now, he'd cost £50m.

We had to do this. We had three teenagers on the pitch at Wembley, and if the game had been a fortnight earlier, it would have been four.

We couldn't have sent that team together into the PL.
English value exists mate. Tyler Morton at £15m is an illustration. I think Dewsbury Hall is another example.

I think we have to remember English players are amongst the best. Back to back Euro winners. If there is this tax (which I am not sure, it is because English players are top level) I am not sure the likes of Cresswell, who was for me the best defender in the tournament, carries as much of a tax as some would think.

Me too based from how he's performed pre-season, his height/physicality and how cool and calm he is with the ball at his feet.

Alese is the one thats desperate for a loan imo, because how far he can go in his career is hanging by a thread with all the injuries he gets

The fact Bellingham was over €30m, Rigg will likely be more again, Gittens €50m, Southampton want €45m for Dibling and Liverpool want €55m for Elliot proves just that. Young English players are massively overpriced. Imagine going into a PL season and you’d spent €95m on two wingers for it to turn out to be Jamie Gittens and Tyler Dibling. Mental.
And yet we keep dominating u21 football in Europe? Some of the prices suggested for young centre backa from Europe are ridiculous tbf. The lad from Roma with one season to cost more than Geuhi? Barmy stuff.

This is all a bit surreal, 4 days before kick off, £155 million spent, £40 odd million recouped so far.

Potentially more money to be spent.

Everyone should be bouncing for Saturday

I am, for one. I know all my pals are the group chat is on fire and we barely discussing transfers.

We discussing time to meet, time to SOL, after.

We all up a height.
