    Said it a few times, Welbeck would be my first choice of striker because of everything he brings in terms of influence professionalism and experience. I heard the Brighton manager singing his praises last night on 5 live though so I’m not sure it’s true.

    This hierarchy have no intention of being involved in a relegation battle this season.. They will spend whatever is needed. If people cant see that, they are non sighted.

    It's the English tax mate. It is unpayable. If this lad was English, at his peak age now, he'd cost £50m.

    We had to do this. We had three teenagers on the pitch at Wembley, and if the game had been a fortnight earlier, it would have been four.

    We couldn't have sent that team together into the PL.

    The fact Bellingham was over €30m, Rigg will likely be more again, Gittens €50m, Southampton want €45m for Dibling and Liverpool want €55m for Elliot proves just that. Young English players are massively overpriced. Imagine going into a PL season and you’d spent €95m on two wingers for it to turn out to be Jamie Gittens and Tyler Dibling. Mental.
