Round pegs, round holes.Hume Ballard Aldarete Reineldo
That’s looking ok to me. That one signing has changed the face of backline.

Not worried about the lack of pace in defence. Teams like Brentford and Everton have managed alright without it over the years.
Agree thats pretty well rounded in attributes, not sure how quick Alderete is, but if we play deep shouldnt too much of a worry
Really nice to see Reinildo at LB on Saturday could be a steal on a Free

Yep i think we will be after a real quality CB to go alongside him - bade been strongly linked still and he's a different level.Do you reckon, given we have gone quite cheap on this CB, there might be another one coming.
I really want a statement of intent in a defensive signing and I haven't seen it yet like I have in the midfield.
Taking everything into consideration, fee/wages/experience, he's probably my favourite signing so far ...
... if CIrkin gets his act together we're covered in that area.

I think my main question is whether Fabrizio Romano ever sleeps?
Probably a source in Paraguaymy question is who confirmed the deal was here we go at that time?
The signings in that position have intrigued me. Yes we needed cover with Cirkin and all others who can cover there injured so Reinildo made sense but then signing Masuaku was the one that threw me. Is Cirkin further away from being fully fit than we thought? Bringing another LB in then allows him to get up to speed with no pressure (which makes sense) but what happens when he's fit? Is it between him, Masuaku or Reinildo who plays? Is there no agreement on a new contract with Cirkin and this is in preparation for when he leaves? I noticed Masuaku can play left midfield - is he cover forthere when required? All this thinking is doing my head in - I'll just leave it to RLB and see what happens
He also has a team of people these daysI think my main question is whether Fabrizio Romano ever sleeps?
