We absolutely do need a centre back in for West Ham mind. I won't hear for one second that saying so is bed wetting. Every game is vital this year. And the winnable ones are few and far between. Going into this "easier" (statistically) run of games up against international forwards with a worse back 4 than the side who finished 4th in the championship last season is shooting ourselves in the foot big time.

Reinildo can play CB. If needed. And is better than we had. As the new LB is imminent. Might be the plan for now

I think expectations need to be simmered just a tad, we have just come up, we need to fill a squad with good depth, he hasn't come in to be the mainstay. He brings experience in the PL, coming off the back of a very good season for Besiktas, European experience. Solid on a free. Played 47 games last season, was in one of the TOTS in the Turkish league and was a regular in the Europa League for them too.

We've just come up, you'd think some on twitter expect 20m dropped on backups too.

Agreed. He's a signing like Danny Batth. Experienced and on a free. The other lads like him have served us well.

Remember when we played a 3 under Neil? Cirkin was left of a 3. Just throwing that out there, obviously Reinildo can play in that role, as can Hume on the right side if we get a second right back or use Huggins. Give us a few options for strength and flexibility.
