Let me repeat myself <cheers> I like him a lot. He will do well in the premier league in my opinion. £20m would be a good price I think.

Note - I am nearly always wrong. He will probably flop :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Cheers. Its more to watch other matches / cricket etc from the sunbed rather than spending all day in the pub

Not one of the more exciting signings but I can see the logic. He gives us premier league experience, competition in a position where we have injuries. He also gives some tactical flexibility as he could play as a wing back or even a left midfielder in a 442. It may also give us the depth to send out others who need it on loan (Alese, Seelt, Hjelde).

Re Masuaka. Welcome aboard the magic carpet ride lad. Hope you smash it for us.

I have to say though it seems a surprise one. I thought he wasn't great at West Ham, whenever watched. However, he does appear to be coming off perhaps his best ever season last year. Besiktas is a big old club to play for and a strong character is needed in Turkish football. The lad must have a hell of lot more going for him than my superficial opinions would have me believer.

Be good to have a proper beard back too. Some of these modern attempts like Le Fee and Neil are wispy rubbish that a strong wind would blow off. We need a Pritchard type, more beard than hair type, or a Bailey Wright type, don't even think about it type.

Really encouraged by that video, some great crosses. Not much defending in it mind, lovely Turkish ballad

He's coming off a very strong season, hopefully he's improved defensively since last time he was in the league but he was always very good when I saw him last season
