As for being on the bench, I'd hope and expect we only ever have 3 defenders on there. So if two of them are orthodox left backs I'll be calling RLB all of the names under the sun!
Yeah he's been good this summer, especially on those ones that came out of nowhere. Hard task for anyone with how tight the club keeps these things now, this new lad had his medical today and the first we heard of our interest in him was this morning. Mental really at this level how good we are with this. When you look at the mags, a lot of their business has played out in public and theyve been stung a few times with others coming in and getting the deal done first. Dont think it should be played down how well everyone involved is doing so that we dont fall into the same trap.
Definitely feels like a cover and squad depth signing that helps reduce some of the current short term gaps from the large injury list. He won’t be coming expecting to play more than 10-15 games
It could all be pot luck too mind but I’m taking his word as gospel from now on it’s incredible how little leaks now, superbly well run club
Regarding Cirkin being ’away’, you never know but I don’t think so. Had a chance to talk to him in Portugal, he was a bit down that he couldn’t train properly with the squad and frustrated about the botched job on his wrist. He said he was really looking forward to getting back to work with the squad and back into the team.
