Not reacting to that. But this signing, after Xhaka, makes me feel we may well be ok this season. This lad reminds me of when I used to follow horse racing with obsessive intent. He has such impeccable breeding at Barca, and has earned a strip or two in a rough race. Has classic winner potential. Sorry for going a bit random there, hopefully folk get it. Sometimes you pay for what the environment should have created.
Depends how you define ‘very, very well’ but I always thought Wellbeck was an excellent loan for us.
That’s another good shout, the Borini we had on loan was fantastic.
Should stress this is simply me looking for inspiration and I'm sure there's plenty of it around. Yes Welbeck absolutely counts, Lukaku banging them in for WBA and Everton would count and I think Tammy Abraham was a very decent loan player at one time as well. Sure there are plenty more.
