Edit they’re just quoting the original article nothing new but someone in the comments of this article called Leverkusen the wolves of Germany

I don't post much on transfer threads, they're too competitive, besides we all know everything quickly enough anyway.

But I do hear bit and bobs from people even if I'm not particularly enthralled.

The Dan Neil to Brentford thing has been mentioned a few times.

To my shame I've no idea who their manager is but the suggestion is that he'd be 'understudy' to Jordan Henderson.

Does that sound plausible, don't they play in the same position?

Keith Andrews is their boss mate. Keep posting any rumours you hear.

Not sure swapping our bench for brentford is a good move for Neil

Maybes more weekly wage and signing on fee but still.. Im sure he would save that in rent alone up here :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Still going with Neil eventually signing a new deal
When we were rumoured to be getting Henderson everyone was saying he couldn't play 90mins and every game. So on that basis Neil would get opportunities at Brentford. Maybe more so that here at the minute as he could arguably be behind Xhaka and Sidiki now for the holding role.

Henderson will start pretty much every game for them if he’s fit and play 75+ mins

I don’t think that Bade news is definite. Sounds plausible enough, let’s hope Leverkusen don’t find the funds to bid for him and he’s at an impasse. Convincing the likes of Bade, Diakite, Harvey Elliot would really move the needle for us.

Sevilla finished 17th in the league last season so hopefully he can be persuaded to join the magic carpet ride. with a good season in the prem, he will cement his place in the 2026 French World Cup squad with Le Fee and Isidor.

Brentford have other midfielders also that will be ahead of Neil there, I'm not sure, He seems a good lad and I think he is a good player really hope he stays and fights

At his age I'm not sure he will. He's not played in a league with that intensity for a couple of years now and he's 35. I was happy enough for him to come back here but I never thought he would be a first choice every week.
