If there was no fee and slightly higher wages, than we’d like, that doesn’t sound so bad … … but his agent won’t be working for free. Could I imagine a roar, if he came on after 60 minutes and needing a goal … … I could picture it I suppose. A 28 year old with PL goals and PL experience to supplement the three we have with virtually none … you could twist my arm but the medical would need to be world class.
Gio Simeone would of been a interesting pressing striker for us went to Torino 8m euros Dont think he speaks english like
DCL would give us premier league experience and is affordable. Sounds like he is a good character as well so ticks a lot of boxes for a newly promoted club like us. All dependent on the wages, sign-on fee and medical working out for both sides.
This whole mag this is brillaint, they believe is a conspiracy theory to stop them from winning things, I can see PIF selling them soon to make room for a more glamours options. With Howe, I can see him walking if Isak goes and they dont replace him with a "stellar" name for the famous no9 shirt
https://sportwitness.co.uk/player-w...underland-not-happy-could-end-up-in-reserves/ Midfielder Pierre Ekwah was unaware Saint-Etienne were going to sign him permanently this summer, something which has now caused problems. That’s according to Peuple-Vert, who cover the situation around Ekwah and Zuriko Davitashvili, who both want to leave the French club this summer. They explain that Ekwah is a ‘delicate case’ after he was signed on a permanent deal from Sunderland following a loan deal last season. Saint-Etienne have paid €6m to sign him permanently, exercising a clause in the loan deal agreed with Sunderland. The problem is that his entourage are claiming that the player was not informed of this decision, something which appears to have annoyed him deeply. Saint-Etienne deny this is the case but since the clause was lifted, Ekwah has not returned to the first team. The two parties are now separated and refusing to move. The club, for their part, are remaining inflexible and refusing to let him leave on a free. His current deal runs until 2028. They’ve now raised the possibility of sending him to the reserves if the situation can’t be resolved. Clubs such as Ipswich Town, Real Betis, Braga and Espanyol have explored the possibility of a move but haven’t stepped forward as yet. It’s a situation that will need to be resolved, though, with Ekwah seeming furious that his loan from Sunderland was made permanent in the first place.
Don’t like the sound of DCL coming here simply because of his injury record. Hopefully it’s a basic wage and a pay as you play for the majority of it. Couldn’t see him going for that, though. Hopefully.
Not transfer related but the rumours of back of home kit are true, if interested look on Sunderland TikTok of granit xhaka
