exactly the club wont say anything to the deal is signed
The main function of the club should be to get Brexit done ....... oops, sorry I meant deals

Entertaining supporters on the internet isn't their aim or responsibility to be fair.

Yes he had a private flight scheduled from Barcelona. That got delayed originally and then cancelled completelyNot every flight, involving a player, is private.
During the holidays players are flying all over the world on normal flights in any case.
Does anyone know, for a fact, that Guiu didn't fly yesterday?
Xhaka was slightly different as the club were signing him permanently and making a massive statement ...
... no offence but this is a young lad on a loan deal.

Just out of interest, as I don't follow these things, where was that reported?
Just a guess but I think the club probably has better things to do ...
... once you start reporting everything that's happening you sometimes create noise around every situation.
Realistically, if the player's situation has changed we'll be straight onto the next in my opinion.
Agree. We as supporters aren’t entitled to every single detail. It may be that the player or the pilot had a dodgy curry and had had the sh1ts. The club don’t need to say. They of course don't have to. But if you're briefing the press on why a transfer is delayed, and the reason is a simple weather related one, you'd think they'd say so.
A poster on RTG (I know) who gets a lot of flight stuff and has proven to be right, had the link to the flight on there etc, Keith also tweeted saying he is due to fly in that afternoon. Then that plane was delayed, then cancelled entirely and flew back to Salzburg, Keith then tweeted that the flight had been postponedJust out of interest, as I don't follow these things, where was that reported?

Keith downie told us as much also the bloke who’s been sharing all the flight information of private flights and has had them all 100% correct confirmed he was on that flight before Keith even tweeted itJust out of interest, as I don't follow these things, where was that reported?
Keith Downie at SkyWho's Keith?
agree with this, really need the defence reinforced asap imoWho knows what has happened, I guess we’ll find out in the next 24-48 hours.
Another big week, need at least one CB in before West Ham
Keith Downie the sky NE reporter he has been spot on with us this summer seems now that we’re finally back in the big time he’s a lot more focused on us than before which is understandableWho's Keith?

Have to say the club may not get the fee they would like here. Might be a case of taking what they can get. It seems reasonably clear now there is no compromise to be had, sadly. That would have come sooner had one party or the other felt it worthwhile. It doesnt really make much sense to keep him for a year and let him go on a free. I doubt they are the sort to dig their heels in either, we seem to do right by players. This might well be a low fee with decent incentives. Ipswich wouldnt be the worst shout in the world for both parties. They get a lad who has captained a promotion team and who suits them. Dan probably gets 1st team shirt and a hefty contract. Clear shot at the prem again if that is his ambition. I would sooner that than see him at Everton or West Ham personally. Still hope he goes overseas - Seria A looks tailor made. The Dan Neil situation makes sense to me, the player is familiar with the role and will naturally need less minutes than the new lads when it comes to grasping the tactics, he also needs to sign a new deal because if the window closes we can't sell him before he can agree pre-contract terms in January for a free transfer to another team. The club will have a deadline, probably a week or two before the window closes.
Think I ready Hackney turned down Ipswich, maybe they go for Neil, feels like he plays a way that Mckenna would like
