I'm not sure about the Guiu signing. Is he the right type of striker for us?

Basing this, scientifically, off his name because it's taking too much effort getting through the mental block to say... Gee-u. Might be OK with it in a couple of days.

 

I just think if it was weather, the club would have said so (via the press). Would explain everything in an instant.

 

I’ve lost count of the amount of ‘here we go’ by him this summer which haven’t materialised.

 

I'd be a bit surprised if he was going to come off holiday to have his medical to then go back on holiday, surely he's had his break now

I have found, over the course of my adult life, Occam's razor helps me keep my life simple. I like a simple life in many ways. Too many assumptions needed for it to be a more nefarious reason so personally happy to park this one as weather related until something else becomes known.

 

I do get this. But of course the weather reason is also an assumption considering private aircraft took off and landed absolutely fine all day yesterday.

Everyone is just making assumptions, its just about where do you place your bets. For me, weather doesn't add up. But that doesn't mean some great conspiracy, could be absolutely anything.

 

Serious question m8, why would they have mentioned any reason at all? We’re not a plc with transparency rules the only ones interested are a few hundred supporters sitting on the internet surely?

 

They of course don't have to. But if you're briefing the press on why a transfer is delayed, and the reason is a simple weather related one, you'd think they'd say so.

 

because the club have briefed Keith on many occasions and he reported on the postponement and then went on to say he doesn't know the reason why. Surely you'd just include it so people don't think there is an issue if there isn't?

Could be as simple as personal or family reasons. Then no one needs / is required to say anything.

 

Yeh absolutely. Could be absolutely anything. All I'm saying is weather doesn't make sense to me.

I'm 90% sure the transfer / loan still happens but there's definitely a chance it doesn't. Which I'd be relatively okay with seeing I don't think he's what we need anyway, but that's a whole other debate

As a journalist wouldn’t he be the one to ask a follow up question if he felt it was appropriate? I’m not being an arse here btw, I simply fail to understand why the club would say anything other than what they have, mind I also fail to understand why anybody would be overly interested in anything other than the fact that it’s postponed atm, just like I couldn’t fathom why that winger fell through caused any debate other than we’ll have to find another one if we need one, not was he injured, did he ask for more money, was it his agent etc etc. none of my business tbh.
