Just a guess but I think the club probably has better things to do ...

... once you start reporting everything that's happening you sometimes create noise around every situation.

Realistically, if the player's situation has changed we'll be straight onto the next in my opinion.
I think that's why some think we already have, Garcia from Madrid is now available for loan according to a report from yesterday, and a poster on RTG (take with a pinch of salt) reckoned they had heard KLD was in Madrid trying to sign him right around when guiu's flight was postponed.

Wild theory time :D

nowt wrong,

couple of colleagues where going to fly up north for a conference/to see family and their flight got cancelled yday afternoon, and they were due to fly at 10am today
He was due to fly yesterday when it was fine

in fact the plane still went from Barca to Salzburg after it was cancelled

might be no funny business just reckon there’s probably a snag somewhere whether that’s we’ve identified someone else or if it’s player side we don’t know

Its just very interesting that the delay on the medical came around the same time that reports in Spain alleged that Garcia would not be the back-up striker for Real Madrid and so would probably be available for at least game time. It is likely nothing and I do like Guiu quite a lot if I'm honest but Garcia really impressed me at the CWC (along with loads of other people). Everyone loves a bit of skulduggery during the transfer window

Downie would not post transfer info based on guessing a flight on the flight tracker is Guiu. He would have been told that was the case by his sources. They have spoke about this multiple times how they have to get multiple sources befotre deciding to say anything or report anything
He will most likely have had it confirmed by a club source that the flight would have Guiu on it, they clearly do that with some of the signings (Xhaka and Adingra). But he could find out the flight was then cancelled by using the internet. Doesn't have to have came from the same source they might not have wanted to put that out there as it starts these rumours and worry.

Imagine how Birmingham fans are feeling.

Imagine that had happened to us with Xhaka. Two seperate attempts to hijack after he's set for a medical :D

I do get this. But of course the weather reason is also an assumption considering private aircraft took off and landed absolutely fine all day yesterday.

Everyone is just making assumptions, its just about where do you place your bets. For me, weather doesn't add up. But that doesn't mean some great conspiracy, could be absolutely anything.
But less assumptions for the weather to be the cause than other reasons, in my opinion anyway. That is the point of Occams razor, theory with least assumptions is often the correct one. Just helps me stop chasing rabbits down holes.

Anyway, weather in midlands, chucking down, moderate winds. Hot air balloons grounded this morning.

Not every flight, involving a player, is private.

During the holidays players are flying all over the world on normal flights in any case.

Does anyone know, for a fact, that Guiu didn't fly yesterday?

Xhaka was slightly different as the club were signing him permanently and making a massive statement ...

... no offence but this is a young lad on a loan deal.

If the club said that he didnt fly due to weather, and at the time it was the truth. Then tomorrow we and the club find out for some reason the player changed his mind and didnt fancy coming, then Twitter would light up and accuse the club of lying and/or incompetence.

Less the club says the better.
exactly the club wont say anything to the deal is signed
